Why ICGK?
We at the Institute of Corporate Governance of Kenya (ICGK) aim to propagate, promote, deepen, and entrench the principles of Good Corporate Governance—Accountability, Transparency, Integrity, Responsibility, and Excellence—across both public and private organizations.
At inception, the pivotal question was: How could we effectively embed these principles across such a wide spectrum of organizations? From where could we draw the depth of expertise required to influence boardrooms, management teams, and governing bodies at the highest level? Almost immediately, the answer became clear: there existed a cadre of seasoned directors, governance practitioners, and thought leaders—experts ready to champion and impart these critical values. Our role was simply to channel their intentions into reality through structured, professional engagement.
