Board And Directors Effectiveness Evaluation

Good Boards Tick All the boxes. Great Boards Leave a Legacy.

You can build a good board with the best talents in town. But to be great and highly effective, you need to know how to bring the best out of each director. And that is where truly meaningful evaluation and feedback mechanisms can help.

The ICGK Board and Directors Effectiveness Evaluation (BDEE) provides an effective and holistic 360- degree assessment framework and methodology needed for a balanced view of the board’s performance, identifying positive aspects and areas of improvement, supporting the board in forward-looking development and growth. We understand that while it is important for directors to possess the necessary skills and qualifications, strong dynamics and relationships between board members also play a pivotal role in board effectiveness. An objective and well managed board and directors effectiveness evaluation can help strengthen your board’s capacity to put your organization on the path of success now and in the future.

Who Are The Candidates?

The Future Is Female

Corporate boards all over the world have continued to recognize and benefit from the unique contributions women can make when given a chance. There are lots of opportunities for women in the corporate board rooms today and this call for deliberate programs to prepare them for the boardroom roles. ICGK’s Women in Leadership program is deliberately designed to equip women with advanced knowledge and skills to enable them participate in corporate leadership and governance. Women emerging into leadership roles will build their unique leadership skills through interactive workshops, seminars and conferences. They will gain the skills they need to communicate, negotiate, and lead with confidence.

The institute will maintain and share the database of all women participating in our program with government agencies and other corporate boards. This, we believe, will enhance the substantive participation of women in the leadership and governance of both private and public organizations. We also hope that our program will assist corporate boards to comply with the constitutional one-third gender requirement.
